#SLEECENAIJA. BREAKINGNEWS!!!! INEC POSTPONES 2015 ELECTIONS

News breaking out of INEC Headquaters at Abuja reveal that plans are being made to postpone the elections scheduled to hold in February next year to November of the same year in order to allow the major actors in the election get ready for the polls on all sides. According to INEC Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega,  “We have received multiple complaints from the parties contesting the polls, particularly APC and PDP that there is hardly enough time for their candidates to sufficiently prepare for the elections scheduled to hold on February 14. For example, PDP complained that President Goodluck Jonathan needs more time tpo spend his 21 billion Naira while in office without being disturbed by EFCC. This is very understandable, as the immunity clause that applies to the president empowers him to act outside the probe of investigation. PDP also complained that President Goodluck Jonathan needs more time to  look for and appoint a Campaign Director, especially given the fact that MAVIN Boss Don Jazzy recently refused the offer to be his Campaign Director. The President can’t effectively prepare for the elections without a Campaign team.

#SLEECENAIJA Teenage Girl and Boyfriend arrested after mother's corpse was found in a 'SUITCASE'

An American teenager and her boyfriend have been arrested  on suspicion of murder after her mother’s corpse was found stuffed into a suitcase outside a five star hotel in Bali. The battered body of Sheila von Wiese Mack was discovered in the boot of a taxi in front of the exclusive St Regis hotel in Nusa Dua on the south of the Indonesian island. According to a police doctor her injuries showed the 62-year-old had become involved in a violent struggle which left her with several wounds to the head inflicted by “blunt tools”.Mrs von Wiese Mack was found covered in bruises and had a number of her fingers broken, according to local police reports. The widow from Oak Park, Illinois been staying in the hotel with her daughter. The couple were arrested several miles away after police tracked them down to another hotel. They told police they had been kidnapped by an armed gang before escaping although investigators have grown suspicious of their claims. Mrs Von Wiese Mack was recorded on CCTV arguing with Schaefer in the hotel lobby the same night, hours later the young couple checked out and sent several suitcases down to the taxi. However instead of leaving through the front entrance they took a route via a stretch of beach monitored by surveillance cameras. “When they did not come down to get into the taxi, the suitcases were removed and the body was found in one of them,” said officer Utomo.“This is murder, and we will decide from our investigation whether it is premeditated or spontaneous.”Ida Bagus Putu Alit, a forensic expert at the hospital that conducted an autopsy, said Ms von Wiese-Mack had been “hit by a blunt object and the blows were concentrated on the face and head.”“There were signs of a struggle by the victim as there were bruises on her arms and some fingers were broken,” Alit added.Bali is a popular island in Indonesia that regularly attracts party goers from around the world. The pensioner, who used to work for Senator Ted Kennedy, had been staying at the St Regis with her daughter before Schaefer later joined them. The Mack family lived for a number of years in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park.Oak Park spokesman David Powers said today police responded to 86 calls from the Mack home due to incidents between mother and daughter from 2004 through June 2013.No arrests were ever made from the calls, which were a combination of reports of domestic violence, theft, missing person and 911 hang-ups, Powers said.Mrs von Wiese-Mack more recently had moved to a condominium in Chicago. Her husband and the father of Heather Louise Mack, classical music composer James Mack, died in 2006.A spokesman for the US embassy in Jakarta said they were “aware of the death of an American citizen that took place in Bali and we understand that two individuals have been arrested in connection with the case’”- See more at: http://www.nigeriannewsinfo.com/teenage-girl-and-boyfriend-arrested-after-mothers-corpse-was-found-in-a-suitcase/#sthash.3YS6aVE2.dpuf

GENDER WAR: Rochas has no liver, he dares not call me a prostitute – Sen. AnyanwuBy Read more at TODAY: http://www.today.ng/news/gender-war-rochas-has-no-liver-he-dares-not-call-me-a-prostitute-sen-anyanwu/

Following reports that the Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha insulted senator chris Anyanwu and made her cry in public, the Senator has now made a strong statement in response. In a statement signed by the her special assistant on public affairs and communications, Vivian Jonathan Iwuoha, she said “the Governor did not, and dare not, call Senator Chris Anyanwu a prostitute. Rochas has no liver to embolden him on this.” Her statement reads: Governor Okorocha has chosen to constitute a menace to women; an affront to women, and this a battle for women, only our strong and virile women will bring him to sanity. Governor Okorocha may have guts but not enough to let loose his tongue directly to Senator Chris Anyanwu. That is to say the Governor did not, and dare not, call Senator Chris Anyanwu a prostitute. Rochas has no liver to embolden him on this. So, at the Owerri cultural festival, he urged the people not to vote for women who are generally prostitutes and wqho have the tendency to slap their husbands – and as usual he got away with it. Senator Anyanwu does not fit into his bizarre description and category, but it was well interpreted by the crowd, and reports thereafter, to be a statement directed to his enemy, the Senator. We all know, its no longer a cold war, why Rochas has drawn the battle line with Senator Anyanwu. Apart from Senator Anyanwu being his strongest and best contender in the 2015 guber race, Rochas will not forget the power wielded by Senator Anyanwu for his victory as governor of the State at the point when Senator Anyanwu and APGA had not been betrayed and sold out by Rochas. This is his sordid nature. Rochas Okorocha needs some sort of therapy, fast. #SleeceNaija : “I Want Drake To Murder My PU$$Y” -Amanda Bynes

Uh…I am speechless… Well, the troubled celebrity that is Amanda Bynes has never been shy on her love for rapper, Drake. She took to twitter a few months back to confess that she’d like Drake to quote, un quote. “Murder my pu$$y” But of recent, Drake took time to respond to the numerous tweets about him in the new issue of XXL magazine. “I don’t even know who is doing that or what that’s about,” he says. “If that is her, I guess it’s a little weird and disturbing.” But Bynes has flip -flopped on her feelings about the rapper, sometimes calling him hot, while other times branding him, like many of her other targets, ugly. “It’s obviously a behavioural pattern that is way bigger than me,” Drake continues. “Whoever is behind it, whether it’s her or somebody else, they know people are paying attention so they keep it going.”

#SleeceNaija : Landlord sets six youths ablaze for smoking hemp

a middle-aged man, Mukaila Adebesin, for allegedly setting ablaze six people in Ita Balogun Compund, Ago-Oko, Abeokuta. The victims are Adesanya, 20, Sulaiman Adebesin, 20, Saburi Seteolu 18, Raheem Bello 19, Azeez Alabi 20, and Kola Sodeinde 19.  It was gathered that the victims were allegedly set ablaze by Adebesin at 7pm because they were gambling and smoking Indian hemp on his premises. A witness, who pleaded anonymity, said Adebesin, a commercial bus driver, had  just returned from an outing when he saw the six youths in his compound. He said, "Their activities made the driver engage them in an argument. As the talks became heated, Adebesin reached for a can of petrol which he emptied on them. "The victims attempted to flee when it dawned on them that the liquid poured on them was petrol. "But  they caught fire from a stick of the Indian hemp being smoked by one of them. They suffered high degree burns due to the incident." Adebesin, who is currently being detained at Oke-Itoku Police Station, was said to have turned himself in to the police immediately after the incident . Our correspondent gathered that other youths in the area, on learning of the development,  stormed Adebesin's compound, and vandalised his apartment and injured his wife who is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital in Abeokuta. The state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said that investigations had already commenced into the matter. Adejobi, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, said, "Adebesin might be charged to court after the conclusion of investigations. He said four of the youths had been admitted at the General Hospital, Ijaiye, while two others were taken to a private clinic for treatment. "Information available to us is that the suspect had an argument with the youths before he poured PMS on them. For now, we cannot ascertain other circumstances that led to the incident but we have the suspect in our custody." The police spokesman added that the command's commissioner, Mr. Ikemefuna Okoye, also warned youths in the area not to engage in any reprisals, saying the police would not condone any act that could disrupt peace inthe state.

#SleeceNaija : I want to be known worldwide -Monalisa Omorodion

Monalisa Omorodion is a budding actress. Though new in Nollywood, she is now a producer with her debut movie in the making Who is Monalisa Omorodion? I was born in London on April 27, 1990. I was in Corona Primary School, Victoria Island, Atlantic Hall Secondary School and then, the University of Lagos, where I studied Economics. I'm the fifth in a family of six-- four girls and two boys.   As a child, I was loved and pampered. My father taught us the value of service. I worked as my father's personal assistant and receptionist instead of being a director! I learnt from that and I'm glad he made me go through all that. Now, I enjoy the privileges of being a responsible young adult. Journey into Nollywood It has always been my dream to act. Growing up, I wanted to be an actor but my parents were worried and disagreed with me on that. I was called the 'drama queen' right from primary school. I had an internship with Chico Ejiro and was behind the scenes but I felt incomplete and I realised I belonged in front of the camera. When the time was right, with the help of my sisters, I was able to convince them. Right now, I have my family's support and I am debuting with my own film. Relationship with other acts I don't get intimidated by any big names in the industry, rather I admire them. When I know I'm working with a well-known actor in a movie, it motivates me to be the best I can be on set. This means I will live and breathe that script. Life of an actress It is like gambling. Not too rewarding. It is meant to be a lonely life but thank God, I have the most amazing family.  As an actress, your every move is scrutinised and you are made to feel that you are constantly in a competition not only with others but also with yourself! You will be judged and misunderstood. You have to understand that not everyone likes you and you have to develop a thick skin. Life is bitter-sweet but you still sail through. No regrets anyway. Relationship I am not married. I am single and I want to focus on building my career now. Fans My fan base consists of those who knew me while I was in university. Then, I received awards. I was the most glamorous. There is a way I handle my fans especially the men. Fashion I'm not too keen on popular trends. I'm more interested about what looks good on me. How I look in an outfit is very important to me. In one word, I am fashionable and sophisticated. My beauty routine is relaxing at the spa. Vision I want to be known worldwide. It has always been my dream to make a difference and I wish to get there by being good and honest. I don't plan to dominate the movie industry because there were others before me.  I am very eager to make an impact in the industry the best way I can by being the best I can be. I want to be an inspiration to younger people who look up to me. Projects I'm very excited. I am currently working on my first project entitled, 'First Cut.' The movie is starring three top Nigerian/ Ghanaian actors. The movie was suggested by my family members who are my benefactors. They advised that since I insisted on acting, I make my own film. It was a brilliant idea. Now, I know I can make a difference with it.

#SleeceNaija : 5 REASONS WHY PLAYING FIFA IS GOOD FOR YOU

If you’re a male between the ages of 8-35, you should be aptly familiar with FIFA by now. And if you’ve been unfortunate enough to have never experienced the satisfaction of screaming ‘GOOOOAAAALLL!!!!!’ into the frustrated face of one of your best chaps, then let me give you a quick run-through - FIFA is easily one of the greatest and most competitive sports video game to ever grace our greasy palms. From casual pick-up games with friends, to competitive tournaments with cash prizes, FIFA is worldwide in its reach, and is enjoyed by millions. But little do people know, this game can actually benefit your entire well-being. 1. Hand-Eye Coordination This is true for any video game that requires anticipation and the reflexes of that cat that never goes away no matter how many beer cans you throw at it.  Science and smart guys in lab coats say that playing video games (especially if you’re young) helps develop better eye-hand coordination. Obviously this is a good thing no matter who you are or what you do. Good eye-hand coordination is not just helpful in functioning as a human being, but is helpful in multiple facets of life (aside from just picking your nose.) This can help you be good at real sports someday too… 2. Relieves Stress Comin’ back from a stressful day of class (if there is such a thing)? Boss ridin’ you at work? Girlfriend sucks? All of that shit just melts away after sitting down and dominating with your favorite club as thousands of virtual fans cheer for how awesome you are.  Much like going to the gym or playing a real sport, playing FIFA 2-3 times a days can significantly reduce stress levels and significantly increase awesomeness levels.  3. Gives an Understanding of the World’s Most Popular Sport If you’ve ever been involved in a discussion about soccer and quickly realize that you’d be more useful in a conversation about the ongoing debate between smooth and chunky peanut butter, you’re not alone.  Playing FIFA will at the very least give you a basic understanding of soccer, if not to provide a way for you to bullshit your way through until someone’s merciful enough to change the subject. Now you can flaunt your knowledge of soccer (even with the international kids) and show all the haters that people should love you even more than they already do. 4. Networking. Actually.  There’s no better way to see someone’s true colors than by playing them in a game of FIFA. The club they play with, the formation they choose, and the coaching style they use all speak volumes as to what kind of person they are. Like if they always insist on playing with the best team in the game no matter what team you play with, that guy is just a douche (easy to figure out). But other than him, stepping into the world of virtual FIFA will expand your social and business network ten-fold. Who knows? Maybe the guy you just gave a spanking to might respect you enough to introduce you to his father who owns (insert successful company here)…maybe. 5. Makes You Cultured Everyone has that one foreign friend who’s way too good at FIFA. He knows all of the players and their stats without even looking at them and the score usually ends up in the 5-0 range. But look at it from a different angle. Not only are you getting that desperately needed ego check, but you’re also gaining a global perspective and learning about different countries while being put in your place. How else are you going to learn to swear in Lithuanian than by playing Vladimir from the room down the hall? Never, that’s how.

#SleeceNaija : Inside a dude’s mind(All Girls must read this)

So this is one of those nights where I get inspiration that seems to come out of nowhere…Nah! This came from somewhere but you really don’t wanna know. Am as real as the realist nigga could be and I will place emphasis on that in this piece. Now y’all should know that this is what goes on in the mind of a guy that doesn’t try to do anything to change or fight many of these urges. You will understand what I mean in minutes.. We niggas are visual beings and have always been. In my mind when Adam saw eve, he might have gone daayum!!! .Yea! My imagination tends to go wild at times( I watch naruto, a Japanese cartoon, ain’t my fault). Basically a guy will be in a committed relationship and will be moved by the next chick he see’s. There is nothing y’all ladies can do about it. If the nigga is interested on working on it, then it stops at “starring” and nothing else. If he is dating a skinny girl, the thick ones look more attractive, if he is into the thick one’s, the skinny chicks start looking like Angelina Jolie…and yeah! we all like Angelina Jolie. Now if he says all what I just said doesn’t apply to him, then he is probably gay and he is just using you to keep society quiet or on the second hand he isn’t human and most likely from mars(always suspected some of em green niggas on mars among us on earth tho) and I’ll suggest you kill him.lol We brothers like the game. The hunt trills us. The fact that we see this girl as impossible to get becomes the next mission impossible and trust me, we all want to be Tom cruise flying from windows and helicopters. The moment she says yes, she suddenly becomes old and boring like McGonagail in Harry potter (oh she did turn into a human from a cat once and that was damn cool so please replace with Meg from family guy.lol) Ladies should learn to be spontaneous. We want you to be that super cool and nice chick that’ll fix us and when the doors are shut suddenly turn into cat woman in them leather trousers and all. SPONTANEOUS!!! Is the word Ladies! Third bit is that we hate loosing the easy prey. The fact that we can get some chick that seems so easy and decide to throw that opportunity outside the window sucks like hell! Imagine a nigga like a wild animal that captures one prey after all the chasing and all and see’s this injured prey. You know what will happen? Yeah! I’ll tell you what will happen, instincts kick in and he has to pounce. I know he had an elephant before and now we are running after an injured chihuahua. I know it’s stupid in ways even the word “stupid” doesn’t fully grasp and I have witnessed a lot of this but hey, I just sit back, open another pack of popcorn and munch right away. P.S: I hate popcorns. Lastly, there is no particular manual to handling a relationship. Think about it. You can decide to sleep with a dude on the first date and he wife’s you and you can keep him waiting for a year and you never get to smell his mum’s cooking. Some couples fight a lot and maybe that’s what works for them. So the fact that your best friend tells you what happens in your relationship, doesn’t mean for a minute that its gonna work in yours. Even though we guys like a lot of things in common(FIFA 13, watching football, arguing, boobs and ass and all that), truth is, what works for one dude varies from the next dude. Don’t try and use the same manual from your last relationship in your new one. It doesn’t get real than that ladies. We hate commitment. Omg! You talk bout marriage, kids and We are just nodding our heads and all. You know what we want. Why? Commitment sounds like a prison to most guys and the fact that we are gonna be stuck with one chick for like 50 years is like playing sega when we are FIFA 13 is freaking awesome(only dudes will be this…and yo! Nigga’s, I heard Ronaldo is life like in that binsh, I haven’t played it yet mehn!). ———————————————————————————————————————————— If any lady is crying after reading this, I want you to know am crying with you o and intact I am passing you a tissue and if you hate me and want to kill me because of this “real piece”, than I’d like to announce that the real David has been kidnapped and this is one of em green dudes on mars that I warned you about. Songs I listened to while writing this: Bury me alive -We are the fallen Eloquent -Sanctus Real Ambition -wale Diced pineapples -Rick Ross Fade away – breaking Benjamin Clubbing – Margues Houston Ayo technology – 50 cent Decode – Paramore Share this: From Mo6tim's blog

#SleeceNaija : Adult movies: Next to hoteliers, school children are our top buyers –Vendors

Very few people will readily talk about Adult movies but it does not change the fact that a lot of people watch the film that now go by different names. Investigation shows that these movies, which many frown at, have a sizable followership and consequently, a large market in Lagos that includes underage persons. Over the years, Adult movies have been generally called by various names including Adult movies, Stag movies and Blue films. But the common street terms in Lagos, as put by Adult movie vendors include Triple X, Mójo, BF, and Adults’. Although, these movies ought not to be sold in the country, this is, however, not the case in Lagos, where porn movies are publicly displayed, including for the curious eyes of underage persons.  Basically, porn CDs with lewd cover pictures can be found at major junctions from 6pm, openly displayed together with regular movies, to draw the attention of passersby. Some of the vendors have adopted a trick of covering hard porn CDs with soft ones that show exposed bodies, but without the sexual organs in view. However, there are some others that display covers with hard core sexually explicit pictures in their stalls. One of such CD vendors identified himself as Mr. Kingley. He displays his ware at Ojota in the evening. He toldSaturday PUNCH that his customers vary from “young and old, male and female.” Kingsley also said that his patrons include persons of secondary school age. He said, “Women also buy Adult (movies) here but their age starts from around 30 years upward. But for men, they can be as young as 15 years and could still be in secondary school. “A lot of these young school children come for Adult movies and I sell to them. Of course, it’s market (business) now; we have to sell. “When those young ones (underage) come, they quickly pick the Adult CD they want up, put it inside a nylon (polythene) bag and say ‘take the money’. They do this because they don’t want any delay.” Kingsley, however, added that no one had challenged him yet for Adult  movies to underage or displaying them in the evening. “If you don’t display them, you may not sell well, because sometimes, it’s when people see the cover that they know what you have and get interested,” he said. “Lagos is a place where people mind their business, so nobody challenges me at all and it’s not my business where they (underage persons) watch it. But they may decide to hide the movies in their rooms and watch them when their parents are not at home.” Meanwhile, a cross section of Adult movie vendors in Lagos identified their movies as popular with the public. But in spite of Adult movies’ blockbusting status, their vendors said many of their patrons are shy of openly demanding for them. Hence, the vendors have mastered their customers’ countenances and are able to read them. A Adult movie vendor at Ikeja, who identified himself as Wale, described the trend as natural for adolescents. Wale said that young underage boys probably use the movies as a self-help tutorial for séx education as they reach pubérty and become aware of their séxual urgés. “I don’t know much about girls but I think that the boys buy the Adult movies to teach themselves about séx, and we heard that some of them also use the movies to masturbaté,” he said. But in Wale’s opinion, the appeal of Adult movies to underage persons has been an age long trend, unfortunately passed down from generation to generation. He said, “Recently, a young boy came to ask for Adult; I asked for his age and he said (that he was) 16 years. It reminded me of when I was in school too. Today, I think it’s wrong for underage persons to watch Adult movies but many of us knew about it when we were still in secondary school. I remember that we used to generally call it ‘Blue film then.” However, Peter Udoh, who sells Adult movies along Awolowo Way, also at Ikeja, described the area as a prime position for the Adult movie business in Lagos. Udoh said he buys CDs using a “70-30 ratio”, with Adult CDs taking the larger share relative to regular CDs. He said, “Adult movies sell more here than ordinary (regular) movies. If I have only ordinary movies, I don’t think that I will sell much. No one will sell well by relying on the ordinary movies alone. “So, when I buy movies, I buy 70 per cent of porn movies and 30 per cent of others like action and season movies (series). I buy more Adult movies because I sell at least 20 Adult movies a day and sometimes it could be more.” Udoh said his biggest customers are hoteliers, who could buy as many as 20 Adult CDs at a go. He said that hoteliers usually require Adult movies for lodgers who request for them, thereby sustaining their loyalty to the hotels. Next to hoteliers, Udoh identified school pupils as top on his list of “regular” customers. He said, “Some who run hotels come to buy as many as 20 Adult CDs at once, so they can give to customers who ask for them at night. We also have people who buy because they just enjoy watching it; they don’t use it to have séx. Apart from hoteliers, we make a lot of money from pupils who are always looking for these films. We also have another set of people who buy the movies to learn new styles when they want to have séx.” Udoh also claimed that some of his customers are even frank enough to share their plans with him during their visits. He said, “When a woman comes to buy a Adult CD, they are usually up to something. It’s most likely that they want to have séx. A woman who should be around 28 years was here recently to buy a Adult CD. As she was picking the one she wanted, she said ‘this man will kill me tonight’ but I told her that they would enjoy it. “Some of the female customers buy it to give to husbands who are not keen about séx; they will play it for them to get in the mood.” Udoh said such women never go straight to the point, “They will first ask for romancé (movies) and after giving them romancé, they will now come out to ask if I have a ‘raw’ one.” To help out his shy customers, Udoh said he pays attention to their faces to determine the ones that want Adult movies, but shy to openly ask for them. He said, “Most people won’t come and ask for Adult movies during the day, they will come in the night and when they come, I know what they want. Some will be shy but once I look at their faces, I know what to give them.” In the period that our correspondent was with Udoh, six persons came separately for Adult movies. One of them, a commercial tricycle rider popularly called Keke Marwa rider, who refused to give his name, picked four Adult CDs at once. Udoh said the Keke Marwa rider was one of his customers, but that night, the man, who looked to be in his early 30s, said he was buying them for his friend. He said, “It’s true that I buy here often, but these ones are for a friend. I had told him about some interesting ones I watched and he asked me to get them for him too. But when I buy, it’s just to enjoy at home alone or learn new things from them.” He, however, denied that he was addicted to Adult, saying he could stop seeing them anytime he wanted to. Another customer, who identified himself as Mike, said he liked Adult movies because of the “action inside”. He added, “I also like to watch it when I want to have a female visitor but after, I destroy them (CDs) because I can’t watch them more than once and don’t like to have them lying around the house too. It’s only when I feel like watching it that I buy and I destroy it afterwards.” Interestingly, it seems that some conditions also predispose some people to buy Adult movies. According to Mr. Sunday Johnson, an official of the Agege zone of Audio/Video CD Sellers Association of Nigeria, the sale of Adult movies is always better during weekends or when it rains.  But Johnson claimed that he never sells Adult to underage persons, due  to his position at AVCDSAN, describing it as unethical. He said, “Particularly when rain falls at night, we sell more because some people will feel cold. Sale is also good during weekends, especially when it rains rainfall too. Some people will come and say ‘Give me better BF or Adults’, but I don’t sell to underage persons.” Johnson’s style is to place CDs of romance or soft Adult movies on hard Adult movies on his shelves. He said he does that to prevent underage passersby from having to see the lewd images on the CD covers. He said, “The pictures on the romance CDs are still better than the ones on the ‘raw’ ones. These ones only show uncladness but not the main things (organs). I don’t sell porn movies to children if their appearance suggests that they are still young, although, I know that many others sell to them because of the money. “When the secondary school students go to buy porn CDs, the sellers sell to them at a higher price because they don’t like to wait too long haggling over price since somebody they know may see them if they stay too long. So those children end up paying over N200 for a N150 CD because they are in a hurry.” Investigation shows that the Adult movies with the most sexually explicit cover pictures attract the most buyers. Johnson said, “The ones that show more action are the ones people go for.” Basically, Adult movie vendors have been preying on people’s addiction to Adult to sustain their businesses. But interestingly, investigation shows that many of them also struggle to fight off a similar addiction to Adult. He said, “What happens is that when some people watch the movies once or twice, they become addicted to Adult and even stop liking movies where people don’t show their uncladness. Therefore, it becomes a habit for them and they come back for more and more of latest Adult movies.” But according to Johnson, like his customers, he became addicted to Adult a few years into the business, adding that it affected his other interests and almost destroyed his marriage. Johnson said, “I got addicted that time because some customers would return the Adult CDs they bought and say the CD was bad. Since I don’t have a CD player at the shop, I would take them home to check them and I gradually became so addicted that I couldn’t watch anything else again. “When my wife and children are asleep, I would be watching Adult movies. A few times, my wife caught me watching them but somehow, didn’t talk. After a while, I made up my mind to stop and I stopped watching them, although, it was tough. But today, they don’t move me again; maybe because I see the covers everyday, so I don’t feel there is anything special inside.” Johnson also explained that most porn movie sellers end up becoming addicted to Adults because some customers ask for their opinion on the movies they sell. He said, “Customers urge us to watch the movies so that we can tell them if they are interesting or not. So, some CD sellers end up liking the movies too much too.” The Deputy Director, Corporate Affairs, National Film and Video Censors Board, Mr. Yunusa Tanko Abdullahi, described the sale of porn movies as “totally illegal”. He said, “In fact, it’s a criminal offence in our law to sell it, whether in the morning or at night. Even people who watch porn movies are watching them illegally, but we can’t do anything about it when people watch in their  rooms. “It is completely illegal, according to Section 202 of the Penal code in the North and Section 232 of the Criminal code in the South, which prohibit the sale, rental and display of Adults. We are not that sophisticated like the advanced world, where they are able to check the age of people they sell to. We know that here, a young guy will enter and they will sell porn to him.” Abdullahi attributed the display of porn CD covers in the night to the agency’s pressure on the vendors. He, however, added that the agency had begun plans to also adopt a strategy that would check the excesses of CD sellers. He said, “Most of these film sellers have moved into the night because of the pressure we have put on them. But now, they have shifted their clandestine operation into the night to do all sorts of things, when they know that we’re not working. “But we’re working with undercover agents to stop this, so that no matter when they come out, we will also be ready for them.” Also the Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Police Command, Mr. Damasus Ozoani, pledged police commitment to support NFVCB in its operations, “although, it’s not the primary duty of the police.” He said, “Selling Adult movies to underage is illegal but it’s not directly under our purview; but when the Censors Board is going on an operation, our men go with them. We are always available when they need us.”
